Easy Blanched Vegetables

Chinese Style Blanched Vegetables

Ingredients

A bunch of choy sum vegetable, cut into 3 parts and cleaned

6 cloves of garlic sliced

1 small onion, cut into thin slices


Sauce

I tbs of soy sauce

I teaspoon of oil

Pepper

A litle water


Method

In a pot, boil water, add in salt and oil

Add in cut vegetables, the stem portion first followed by the leafy parts into the boiling water.

Stir quickly for a few seconds, take out and drain.

In another small pot, heat oil and fry garlic and onion until brown and fragrant

Placed blanched vegetable on a plate, pour sauce over and topped with fried garlic and onion.
